Ok, here's some of the wants.

I want to surround myself with people who are honest, who act with intent, who are authentic and who have a handful of self awareness. I want people to be ok in their skin. I don't want them to have the need to impress me. I'm going to be much more impressed if they are themselves. I want to have interesting conversations about current events, internet musings, tasty wines, random life observations, interactions with other humans. I want to hear about their travels, how their experiences helped shape them. I want to hear about what they've learned through life. The changes they've made. I like to connect emotionally with people, it makes life feel richer, like we're more connected.

I was told one time, that I could not have the same relationship with everyone. Of course, I understand that. But sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my time if conversations revolve around the weather, my mountain bike's parts, the traffic (often related to the weather). There seems to be so much more available for conversation: interesting books, the beauty in nature, what motivates us, good wine.

These are personal interests, I understand that. Maybe I'm just as closed minded as those who talk weather. But maybe I need more.
